READ THIS APPLICATION THOROUGHLY BEFORE ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS. ONCE SUBMITTED, THIS APPLICATION BECOMES THE PROPERTY OF THE GUILD. INSURANCE BENEFITS THROUGH THE GUILD MAY TAKE UP TO 90 DAYS FOR ENROLLMENT; UPON BEING SWORN INTO THE GUILD.
Requirements for Regular Membership:
You must be currently underemployed as the resident manager or superintendent of a residential building.
You must have at least three years of experience as a resident manager or superintendent of a building having at least seven employees(not including you); or be able to show equivalent expertise, knowledge, and experience as deemed by the Guild Membership Committee.
You must be in possession of all valid licenses, certificates, permits, etc., that are required by law and regulation for the operation of your building.
After submitting your application, you must attend three monthly guild meetings before this application will be reviewed.
Requirements for Associate Membership:
You must be the owner, officer, or official representative of the company, corporation, or franchise for which you are filing an application.
You must refer five resident managers who are not current members, in which three of the five must apply for membership before the associate member is accepted.

Payment Information
A CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR YOU CAN PAY BY LOGGING ONTO SABMG.COM IN THE AMOUNT OF $325 FOR REGULAR MEMBERS AND $600 FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERS MUST ACCOMPANY THIS APPLICATION MADE PAYABLE TO: SCANDINAVIAN AMERICAN BUILDING MANAGERS GUILD
If you meet the criteria for membership and have attended the required amount of meetings, your application will be reviewed. You will be notified by our membership committee of the status of your application. If you are accepted, your $325 fee will be applied as your annual dues. If your application is denied, $100 will be deducted to cover the cost of processing the application and $225 will be refunded to you.
Regular and Associate membership dues, which include a $75,000 life insurance policy, are $325 per calendar year for regular membership and $600 for Associate members and are due on January 1st.
